Elevator is a rock album by the Bay City Rollers. Having replaced longtime lead singer Les McKeown with Duncan Faure, the group shortened their name to simply The Rollers, and pursued a more rocking, power-pop sound than their previous work. The album, released by Arista, was critically acclaimed but poorly received commercially.

This album has every band member performing at their best and most rocking. It deserves top 3 for sure. Roger Daltrey's scream marks the pinnacle of classic rock. Nothing before that moment had so well captured the essence of rock and roll, and nothing after it matched the primal nuance of rock's earlier days.

Released in with new guitarist/vocalist Duncan Faure Elevator is arguably the Rollers finest musical acheivement! Along with the new blood Faure brings to the band, the music contains a new maturity and energy that was sorely lacking in previous albums like Strangers In The Wind/5(27).
